Photography body of work with Canon Rebel T7.
This body of work explores the idea of how time affects a relationship and the changes in dynamics between two people over time. I initially wanted to portray a whole story of falling in and out of love, representing a clear arc of the rise and fall of a romantic relationship. However, I decided that would be too cliche and too obvious how the viewer is supposed to feel, so I altered the idea to revolve more around the change in dynamics between two people in a romantic relationship or even friendship. Instead of the ending being an obviously sad impression of the relationship falling apart and ending, I want the viewer to be able to feel several different ways about the shift; it could be happy, sad, mournful, contentness, etc.
I used different lighting, environments, and actions to convey the mood of each photo combining to create a story of falling in love and the following ups and downs. I hope this body of work meets everyone at whatever place they are at with their own own experiences with past or current friendships and relationships, and reflect on those ideas in their own life.
