An incense burner that completely contains the incense stick and releases the smoke through the patterned holes. The inner tube shelf makes it easy to reload and light sticks of incense and locks into place when pushed all the way in with a copper wire guide. I bought a standard copper pipe from the hardware store before cutting it in half to make the outer and inner tubes. I had to bend the inner tube to match the inner curve of the pipe to make the incense shelf slide easily. Then I constructed and soldered the base and shelf cap before drilling tons of holes in a smoke stream pattern. As I was new to soldering, I was proud of how clean the silver solder lines are against the copper. I finalized the piece by adding a guide for the shelf inside the tube and sand blasting the outer tube for a softer appearance and protected it with bees wax.
