One of my earliest physical designs, based on Gestalt principles and the disruption of a pattern. A series of dashed lines give the implied motion of approaching the center red dot. As they get closer, they get twisted and pulled out of line as they swirl towards the center. This was my first experience with sumi ink and gauche so it took some experimentation to get it right.
