A Spotty Memory
2023
Acrylic dot painting on cardstock.
12” x 8”

A color theory project where I represented color gradients using created colors from the primary pallet. I used only dots to give a vague sense of shape and complex colors. The landscape is based of an old memory I had of gorgeous sunset I saw behind a mountain range and river in Wyoming as a kid. It leans into the vague nature of the painting technique and the over exaggerated and saturated nature of a memory.
